Police are appealing for witnesses after a 14-year-old girl suffered a puncture wound on his arm while walking to school, following they believe was a dog attack.
The alleged incident took place on Queens Road near the Food Hall at approximately 10:00 yesterday morning.
Police have appealed for witnesses after it was alleged the student was chased and bitten by a large black dog.
Police say anyone who witnessed the incident or anyone with information surrounding the identity of the dog or its owner should call on 612612, or anonymously on Crime Stoppers on 0800 555 111.
