The Dreaming Trees sensory display is set to light up Howard Davis Park for the third year running – but will be held in October instead of February this year.
Organisers of the annual display said they had moved the event in the hope that they can "take advantage of the spectacular autumn season" and the October half term.
The free ticketed event, which is organised by the Infrastructure and Environment Department, saw over 35,000 visitors to the park last year.

A special evening was also held aimed at neurodivergent individuals where the number of attendees was reduced and background music turned down.
Previous Dreaming Trees displays were inspired by the work of Dr Suzanne Simard and her scientific research into how trees communicate with each other using a 'Wood Wide Web', but organisers said that work is underway to develop "an exciting new theme" this year.

Bruce Labey, senior operations manager for parks and gardens and Dreaming Trees founder, said: "Moving Dreaming Trees to October will help us build on the success of the past two years of illuminations and take advantage of the spectacular autumn season to which we will be adding some extra sparkle."
More information is due to be released about the event in the coming months.
