Although St. Peter won’t be going to the polls to choose a Constable - Richard Vibert was elected unopposed to replace John Refault, who stood down - they will be choosing a new Deputy.
And that new Deputy is going to be one of at least 17 new faces in the States.
Two candidates – Sean Creavy and Rowland Huelin – have put their names forward to replace sitting Deputy Kristina Moore, who is running for Senator.
A hustings is being held at St Peter Youth and Community Centre at 19:30 on Thursday 26 April. Voting will take place at the parish hall on Wednesday 16 May.
Voters in St Peter – like parishioners across the island – will also have the opportunity to choose up to eight senators from a list of 17 candidates.
Bailiwick Express would like to thank the students of Highlands College Media Department who helped film some of these election videos.
Tomorrow: St Helier No 1
