Voters in St. Saviour 3 have one Deputy and four candidates to choose from in the forthcoming general election on May 16th.

But they aren’t being asked to vote for a Constable – Sadie Le Sueur-Rennard was returned unopposed.

Because the sitting Deputy, Terry McDonald, is not seeking re-election, whoever tops the poll and is elected will be a new face for 2018.

The four candidates are Reform’s Tom Coles, and independents Andrew Le Quesne, Mary O’Keeffe, and Jess Perchard.

Tom Coles declined Express’s invitation to record an election video saying he was too busy.

All parishioners in St Saviour no matter what district they live in – like parishioners across the island – will also have the opportunity to choose up to eight senators from a list of 17 candidates. But where parishioners vote depends on the district in which they live. Parishioners living in No3 vote at Maufant Youth Centre, the same place where they go to vote for their deputies Election day is Wednesday 16 May.

Bailiwick Express would like to thank the students of Highlands College Media Department who helped film some of these election videos.

Thursday: St Lawrence.
