Police and paramedics have been called to a Castle Quay food shop to deal with a serious incident.
Emergency services were called to the Morrisons store in St Helier at around 13:30 this afternoon.
Pictured: Armed police were deployed to the scene.
The area has been cordoned off and detectives have now also arrived on the scene.
Unconfirmed reports suggest at least one person has been stabbed.
It is not yet known whether anybody has been seriously injured.
