While many might like to travel in style, one local funeral directors are ensuring that continues even for islanders' very last trip with a new fleet of top-of-the-range cars.
Funeral Directors Pitcher & Le Quesne said the investment in Jaguars came because they only want "the best for families."
The new fleet - bought through Wilcox Limousines & Hearse, a 70-year-old company that has been bringing vehicles to Jersey for 60 years - includes a Jaguar XJ Hearse and three matching six-door black Jaguar XJ limousines.
Run by Paul Battrick MBE, Managing Director, Andy Errington-Rennell and Gareth John, Pitcher and Le Quesne say they chose the vehicles "after extensive research."
Mr Battrick said: "We wanted the best for our families. They are the perfect addition to our client services," he said.

Paul Wilcox, CEO of Wilcox Limousines, travelled personally to Jersey to deliver the vehicles. He said it was a pleasure to have visited Jersey once again, adding that it had been "an honour" to deliver the vehicles, and thanking Pitcher & Le Quesne for their custom.
