The countdown is on for the Hospice 2 Hospice Half Marathon, which is due to take place next Sunday 26 March.
Stationed across the island in St Ouen and St Helier, participants have to run from one Hospice to to other.
This distance is around 13.1miles through the green lanes of St Ouen, St Mary, and St John, to the finishing point in the Hospice car park on Mont Cochon in St Helier.
The registration fee is £27.50 for individuals, £45.00 for 2 person relay team, and £68 for a 4 person relay team. Online sales will close the day before the race.

ArtHouse Jersey is hosting the world premiere of a new photographic exhibition ‘Cambion’ by Ryan Skelton at Capital House next month.
Launching on Thursday 6 April 2023, the exhibition will run until Sunday 7 May 2023.

Ryan Skelton is an emerging British artist who has already gained widespread critical recognition. Shot on analogue film, this exhibition will be a world premiere of this body of work, which has been in the making for over five years.
On the morning of Saturday 8 April, there will be an artist Q&A where Ryan Skelton talks with ArtHouse Jersey Director Tom Dingle, exploring the processes and inspirations behind Ryan Skelton’s new exhibition 'Cambion'.
Free to attend, people can book their place via ArtHouse Jersey’s Eventbrite page.
Taking place this Saturday, the St Ouen Crafts Market will contain a collection of different gifts, and arts and crafts suitable for any budget, as well as hot food, drinks, and cake.

They will be presenting a concert of musical theatre pieces from stage and screen with Bertrand Larmet, Veronique Martinez and members of the Christmas Company on Friday 17 March.

ArtHouse Jersey and Art for Guernsey have announced their intention to work together, joining forces to promote the Channel Islands — collaboratively and on a non-competitive basis — to France and other jurisdictions.

The collaboration plan was decided when the organisations engaged with galleries and museums on a cultural diplomacy field trip to Rennes in June 2022.
The two organisations are currently working on the creation of a collaborative touring Channel Islands exhibition for 2024 that will develop through a series of artistic residencies on both islands for local and international artists later this year.
The Société Jersiaise aims to produce and facilitate research of the island’s history, culture, language and environment; and to share this knowledge through education and publication.
Every Wednesday from the 15 March to the 3 May 2023, Société Jersiaise's Lunchtime Talks will be available for all to visit at Pier Road, St Helier in the Members' Room between 13:--114:00, free of charge.

During March, the Alliance Français de Jersey is organising several events to celebrate Francophonie including a quiz, a cineclub, and a storytelling workshop.
Francophonie Day is observed on March 20 every year to celebrate the French language and Francophone culture.

Trinity Buoy Wharf Drawing Prize, the UK's most celebrated drawing exhibition is in Jersey for the first time and will run until Sunday 26 March at Capital House.
This exhibition reflects a broad scope of outstanding contemporary drawing practice from across the world. Showcasing over 120 shortlisted artworks from the 2022 competition, the breadth of work on offer promises to create a spectacularly diverse display.
Alongside the exhibition, ArtHouse Jersey will be running a programme of talks, workshops and events.

Running alongside the Trinity Buoy Wharf Drawing Prize exhibition is ArtHouse Jersey's five week 'Island Drawing Challenge'.
Each Friday, ArtHouse Jersey will launch a new drawing theme via social media channels. The theme of the week will speak directly to the core work and focus of a featured local charity.
The final week's theme is: 'Anything Goes'.

Charities taking part in the 'Island Drawing Challenge' include Jersey Trees for Life with the theme 'The Wonder of Nature', Beresford Street Kitchen with 'Soul Food', Brighter Futures with 'Families & Loved Ones', Jersey Mecap with 'And Relax...', and Art in the Frame who will share with week with ArtHouse Jersey offering people the opportunity to have an artistic free-for all and draw whatever they please.
Participants are invited to share their drawing on social media using the hashtag #islanddrawingchallenge while tagging @arthousejersey and the charity of the week. Those who would rather not use social media can submit their drawings via email to drawing@arts.je.
A selection of submissions will be shared online each week.
The charity Liberate is celebrating LGBTQ+ history month with a writing competition challenging entrants to write over 1,000 words with an LGBTQ+ theme.
There are categories for both over and under 18s, and entries are due in on the 16 April.
Announced in May, the winners will receive £100 Amazon voucher prizes.
