Around 500 children from 14 local schools took part in a "beach amphitheatre" concert yesterday alongside two West End stars.
The Jersey Sings Festival was held in aid of local charity Music in Action, which supports music education in schools and organises live performances for communities without easy access to music.
Islanders were invited to watch hundreds of children perform in a massed choir show at lunchtime on the steps at La Frégate near Jardins de la Mer – described by organisers as a "beach amphitheatre".
The 50-minute concert included performances by nine-year-old island singer Madeleine Harvey, and appearances by West End stars Aimee Atkinson and Gareth Gilligan.
Ms Atkinson is best known for her portrayal of Katherine Howard in the original cast of Six The Musical, while Mr Gilligan was a semi-finalist on Britain's Got Talent in 2019 and has toured the UK and Ireland as Scar in Disney's The Lion King.
The festival also included a choir workshop yesterday morning, and a special musical theatre show at the St Helier Methodist Church last night.
