Luděk Mikloško, a former Czech Republic International and Premier League goalkeeper, will be in Jersey this July to meet aspiring keepers as part Just4Keepers CI second summer camp.
There are still some places available for the camp which will take place on 8 and 9 July at Haute Vallée 3G pitch and is open to keepers aged 7 to 18.
The first Just4Keepers CI summer camp took place last year with 16 boys signed up. This year, Matt Elcock decided to up the ante with a special guest, Luděk Mikloško, a former Czech Republic International and Premier League goalkeeper with West Ham and Queens Park Rangers.
Mr Elcock said: "Luděk brings a wealth of experience and knowledge which, when combined with the fantastic coaching on offer from the local Just4Keepers CI coaches, will ensure that all goalkeepers who attend will be learning and improving on their techniques but, first and foremost will have plenty of fun and enjoyment."
Keepers aged 7 to 18 are all welcome but will be split into age appropriate groups. Younger keepers will train from 10:00 to 16:30 on the Saturday and from 13:00 to 17:30 on the Sunday. Keepers aged 15 to 18 will receive a two hour training session by Luděk Mikloško from 10:30 to 12:30 (arrival 10:00) on the Sunday. This session will also be open to local coaches so that they can watch and learn from the "star" coach.

The camp will cover various techniques from footwork and movement to handling and shot stopping, as well as crossing and punching. But Matt Elcock has promised some fun games too, including every keeper's favourite the 'Goalie Wars.'
He explains: "At our goalkeeper camp we have always placed an emphasis on having fun and helping every goalkeeper fulfil their potential. We all know being a goalkeeper is the hardest positon in the team because goalkeepers need physical dexterity, superb reactions and a great mental attitude. This is why our specific keeper camps are right for any goalkeeper."
Mr Elcock launched Just4Keepers in Jersey in April 2015 which now counts 25 keepers enrolled. Starting from September, trainings will take place during term time on Tuesday 18:00 to 19:00 at Haute Vallée's 3G Pitch. Just last week, Just4Keepers CI organised its first Goalie Wars at Springfield Stadium on 25 June. 28 keepers took part and the event raised funds for Steps Charity Worldwide, which supports Mr Elcock's family as two of their children were born with clubfoot.
Tickets for the summer camp can be purchased for a day, the weekend or the two-hour session run by Luděk Mikloško, until 4 July. More details are available on the EventBrite page.
