Islanders affected by recent flash floods have been offered support via a dedicated helpline.
In a press conference, the Chief Minister reassured islanders this evening that ongoing support continues to be available.
Chief Fire Officer Paul Brown confirmed that if residents have not been already contacted, then they are not being advised to evacuate at this time.
He added that a dedicated information line has been set up, and anyone needing help should now call:
The helpline will be staffed by members of the Government's communication team, and supported by staff from Customer and Local Services from tomorrow morning. It will be open until 23:00 tonight, and then reopened at 08:30.
Executive Officer of the Parish of St Saviour, Marco Vieira, has confirmed that the Parish Hall will remain open throughout the night to continue its ongoing support as an 'Emergency Hub'.
Residents requiring assistance can also contact the Parish Hall on 735864 or the Duty Centenier on 07797 716661.
