A man in his 20s had to receive emergency medical care for injuries caused during a reported fight with three men he didn’t know, police have said in an appeal for more information.
The alleged grave and criminal assault took place around 01:00 on Sunday 6 March in the area of Conway Street, St. Helier, according to the Force.
“It’s believed that a fight took place involving four men including the victim, a man in his mid-twenties. The other men are not known to him and the description of them is unknown,” officers said.
"The victim attended A&E for treatment with numerous injuries to his hand and face.
“There were a few people around at the time and several cars passed by so police would like to speak with anyone who may have seen this or anyone who has any information.”
Anyone who saw what happened or who has more information is urged to call police on 612612 or make an anonymous report via the Crimestoppers website.
