Weather conditions today may prove challenging for the Air Display, but organisers are still vowing the day will go ahead – albeit with some tweaks to the timetable.
A blend of sunshine and heavy, potentially thundery, showers are predicted throughout the day, with winds up to Force 5.
In an update this morning, the Air Display organisers vowed that the annual show was “still a go”.

They said that the weather had, however, caused “issues” for a number of acts, which will “likely be cancelled”. A revised timetable has now been published with several changes.
The start time has now been pushed from 13:40 to 14:20, among those no longer appearing on the list are the Thunderbolt, Chinook, Battle of Britain Memorial Flight, Aerosparx and RAF Spitfire.
The Avenue will close to traffic at 12:00, with access allowed for parking up until 14:00.
