HSBC has said there will be no job losses as it confirmed the permanent closure of two of its branches.
The bank's Five Oaks branch will shut its doors for the final time in August 2024, while the Halkett Street premises close in January 2024.
However, the King Street branch will be reopening in January 2024, following its closure for refurbishment on 26 May.
Despite the two closures, further investment will be made in existing Jersey HSBC branches, according to the bank.
It told customers in an email communication last night that its St. Brelade branch was planned to close for three months for refurbishment in "late 2024".

In a statement issued this morning, HSBC said the closures were the result of an increasing demand for mobile banking and a reduction in in-person transactions. They said no jobs were at risk as a result.
Cameron Senior, Interim Head of Wealth and Personal Banking HSBC Channel Islands and Isle of Man, said the pandemic had "accelerated" a change in people's banking habits.
"We know from our review that the majority of customers have a preference to do much of their day-to-day banking digitally, and while we’ve seen a significant reduction in the number of customers using our Halkett Street and Five Oaks branches, we’ve developed a model that provides islanders with both the opportunity for face-to-face servicing as well as online banking products and services," he said.
Alistair Philp, Head of HSBC Branch Network for the Channel Islands and Isle of Man, said HSBC will be "working closely with our teams and customers, especially vulnerable customers, to ensure we continue to offer excellent service that reflects the different ways our customers are choosing to bank with us."
"The bank is making significant investment in its flagship King Street branch and a further refurbishment programme is being reviewed for the St Brelade branch towards the end of next year," he added.
