Police are asking for the public’s help with their investigation into a crash outside a bank that led a 29-year-old woman to be hospitalised.
The crash, which involved a silver Peugeot 206 GTI, took place last Thursday around 19:18 on Bagatelle Road outside Lloyds Bank.
In an appeal for more information, Police explained that the car had been heading south from Five Oaks towards town when it hit the wall, causing “substantial damage”.
It then came to rest in the middle of the road.
The vehicle’s 29-year-old driver was taken to hospital with what Police described as “fairly serious injuries”. She has since been discharged.
Police say that their investigation into what happened remains “ongoing”, and they’re asking islanders with dashcam or video footage of the accident or its aftermath to get in touch.
Those with more information can call 612612 or make an anonymous report via Crimestoppers’ online form.
