Onesie nightmares, a Disney princess, deep water stunts and a whole lot of dancing...JCG’s staff have waved goodbye to their Year 13 students with one memorable finale.
The school’s teachers and Leadership Team - including Principal Carl Howarth - banded together to create a Dua Lipa-themed extravaganza as the school’s upper Sixth Form students bid it farewell last week.
Video: JCG teachers share their 'New Rules' in a Dua Lipa-inspired musical send-off for Year 13.
Since being published last week, the video has garnered more than 3,000 views and was warmly received on Facebook, with more than 120 likes.
Although humorous songs to see off Sixth Form have become somewhat of a tradition at JCG, this may be the staff's final one.
That's because the school now appears to be up for sale on Facebook page, Jersey C.I. Stuff for Sale, for an absolute steal…
However, on a slightly more serious note, to sum up the year, the school's' Facebook page shared a message from a leaver, simply leaving a statement of thanks.
"I know I’ve said goodbye a million times today but I just wanted to express how grateful I am for everything that you and the school have done for me, and how difficult it really is to leave such an amazing place. Thank you for making JCG my home away from home."
