Car parking charges will increase at Jersey Airport from the end of March 2019.
Ports of Jersey justify the increase by saying that it is the first time in almost eight years the charges have gone up to reflect cost of living, as well as the need to increase their commercial revenue to pay for future investments.
The rate will increase to £0.80 pence per half hour, or part of it.
The current cost for parking at the Jersey Airport is £0.70 pence, and the price increase will come into effect from Friday 29th March.
The last increase in September 2011, saw car park charges rise from £0.60 pence to £0.70 pence.
