Flash flooding caused disruption yesterday evening after thundery showers and strong winds swept over the island.
Jersey Fire and Rescue crews said they were busy dealing with multiple flooding calls in the north of the island due to the heavy rainfall, with one property even struck by lightning.
Islanders were urged to take care when driving in the area due to "difficult" road conditions and crews working near the roads.
Jersey Met issued a yellow thunderstorm warning yesterday afternoon.
The States police also received "several reports of localised flooding" and "hazardous driving conditions".
Photographer Dave Ferguson braved the conditions in St Ouen and St Mary to give islanders a taste of the conditions.
Honorary police officers were on hand throughout the evening to assist where possible.

Facebook page 'Jersey Weather Chat' was also filled with islanders sharing images and vidoes of the flooding.
Pictured: Matt Noel posted a video of the village of Carrefour Selous in the north of Jersey which was one of the areas affected by flooding.
And some islanders had a more soggy commute than usual.
Among them was Chair of the Institute of Directors, Alex Ruddy, who praised a Liberty Bus driver who went out of their way to help passengers during the flooding.

Showers and heavy rainfall are expected to continue throughout the morning providing little relief for flooded areas.

Wind: Westerly light F3, veering northwest to north light F2 to 3 by midday increasing moderate F4 later.
However, Jersey Met does suggest that it will, eventually, clear to "sunny spells" later on.
Wind is at a westerly light force 3, dropping down at midday, before increasing to a moderate Force 4 later.
Express has contacted Government for an update on recovery efforts.
