A Jersey hotel has scooped an accolade that fewer than 1% of the eight million listings on TripAdvisor manage to achieve.
The Greenhills Country House Hotel in St Peter has been ranked sixth in the “best of the best” hotel awards for the UK and Channel Islands, based on the past year of reviews by Tripadvisor users.
The special award ranks it alongside some of London's most iconic establishments, ranging from Claridges to Browns and Le Manoir aux Quat'Saisons.
The other hotels just ahead of Greenhills, which is part of the Seymour Hotels group, were the third-placed Aviator in Farnborough, Hampshire, and Le Manoir aux Quat’Saisons in Oxfordshire (fifth).
“We are immensely proud of our team for their exceptional dedication and hard work in achieving such a high ranking across the UK and Channel Islands," commented General Manager Carmelita Fernandes.
