A Jersey-born musician who has been honing his craft in the UK recently unveiled his new single with a performance at one of London's most iconic venues.
Harrison Mayo showcased 'Mystery Girl' – which was officially launched on Friday – with a recent performance at a Mixtape Madness event in the Royal Albert Hall.
The evening included sets from accomplished names in the UK R&B scene including former Radio One Extra presenter DJ Ace who has a new show on Kiss FM.
The 26-year-old, who has been working multiple jobs while pursuing a career in music, said: "It was a really cool experience and a great place to network with people from the R&B scene – I actually got booked for a couple of shows after."
Harrison added: "It's a catchy summer song with a lot of vocal layers to it."
The singer-songwriter has also been featured on major Spotify playlists with hundreds of thousands of followers, and gained airtime last year on BBC Introducing’s track of the week.

He said: "I'm performing a lot in London at the moment – as it's where I am living and working – but the aim is to be able to come back to Jersey and play at festivals where I can showcase what I've been doing in the UK to a local crowd."
His new song has also so far been added to the Ministry of Sound Chilled Spotify playlist and two editorial playlists on Amazon.
