One of Jersey's most famous tourism and hospitality landmarks has announced a £200,000 relaunch of its St Ouen café promising "wonderful food, views and service".
Jersey Pearl, which is celebrating its 40th birthday next year, said the café would get a new look this spring to connect it to its seaside environment.
The menu will also get a makeover, starring seasonal and local produce.

Director Julia Williams runs Jersey Pearl as a family business, with brother Mike as Managing Director and daughter Annabelle (16) working in the café on weekends.
She is the third generation to look after the business, which was founded in 1985 by her grandfather Fred Scragg, her uncle Michael Scragg, and her dad John Taylor.

She said: “2024 is an exciting year for us as we head towards our 40th birthday - and we’ve got lots of reasons to celebrate starting off with a new café at our St Ouen flagship!
"We’ve become a part of people’s most important family moments from treating themselves on holiday to buying jewellery for a wedding or special occasion, and I love that our pick-a-pearl experience has become a tradition through generations.
"Our new café will be at the heart of this, bringing people together on the island again and again with wonderful food, views and service."

The relaunched café is branded as a pit-stop for visitors on the west coast – whether they are walking along St Ouen's Bay, birdwatching, or buying jewellery.
Jersey Pearl is planning on introducing a larger service area, a modern seating area, and seasonal dishes that use local produce.
The new café will have a free car park, wheelchair access, high chairs, and indoor seating, the company said.
Located on Grande Rue des Mielles, Jersey Pearl's flagship store and café are both open seven days a week, from 09:30 to 16:30.
