A drone and lifeboat are now being used in the search for 51-year-old islander who hasn't been seen since Saturday.
Thomas Frost was last seen at his parents' address in St. Ouen on Saturday 11 February around 22:00.
A specialist team of detectives and search officers has been put together to look for him.
On Sunday, the Channel Islands Air Search was involved in searching the area in which Mr Frost was last seen for three-and-a-half hours but was unable to locate him.
Police said in an update on Tuesday afternoon that officers were now using a drone to search the island's north-west coast.
Jersey Fire and Rescue are also assisting with the search, using their inshore rescue vessel to search around Val de le Mare.
Mr Frost is described as approximately 6ft tall, of medium build, with grey hair, and usually clean shaven. Police said they believe he was wearing a grey hoodie, navy shirt and navy jeans when he disappeared, and that it is possible that he is barefoot.
Released yesterday, the latest photo of Mr Frost was taken by CCTV on Saturday.
The Force confirmed that his family are receiving support from "specially trained" Family Liaison Officers.
