Man accused of Morrisons stabbing appears in court

A 55-year-old man accused of stabbing of a supermarket worker appeared in the Royal Court via video link from prison today.

Trevor Robert John Green faces charges of attempted murder and grave and criminal assault.

He stands accused of stabbing a shop worker in the Castle Quay branch of Morrisons on Saturday 18 November.

Mr Green first appeared in the Magistrate’s Court two days later.

His next Royal Court appearance is scheduled for four weeks' time.

Mr Green has been remanded in custody in the meantime.
