A 43-year-old man stormed out of the dock as he learned that a jury had found him guilty of 13 counts of "serious" sexual abuse against two young girls this afternoon.
Jason Mark Le Chevere was convicted of 11 counts of indecent assault and 2 counts of rape after two young girls brought accusations against him.
Le Chevere denied the allegations throughout proceedings, but a jury has now found him guilty of sexually abusing the young pair.
The jury, composed of six men and six women, came to an unanimous decision on 12 of the 13 counts and a majority verdict on 1 of the counts - meaning that at least 10 members of the jury returned a guilty verdict on this count - after just over three hours of deliberation, having retired yesterday to consider their verdict.

After the verdicts were read out, Le Chevere stormed out of the dock and refused to return to Court.
The trial lasted for four days in the Royal Court, during which the Jury were shown several hours of taped Police interviews with both of the victims.
Each of the young girls also gave evidence via video link – the older of the two told the Court the impact that Le Chevere’s abuse had on her life.

The Court also heard that Le Chevere told Police in interview that he was “disgusted” by the allegations and accused one of the victims of “attention seeking”.
Crown Advocate Simon Thomas, who previously described the abuse as “sexual interference of the most serious kind”, applied for Le Chevere to be taken into custody.
This application was not opposed by Defence Advocate Ian Jones, and therefore Le Chevere will be held in custody before he is sentenced in the Royal Court. He has also been placed on the Sex Offenders’ register.
