A motorcyclist is being treated in hospital after colliding with a van yesterday afternoon.
Police said the crash, which took place outside Roberts Garage in the Greve D'Azette area, was reported to them around 13:30.

Officers said both the 22-year-old rider of a black Aprilia motorbike and the white Nissan van had been travelling east at the time, and that the collision was believed to have occurred as the motorcyclist attempted to overtake the van as it was turning.
The road was closed while the Emergency Services dealt with the incident, but reopened at 16:04.

The rider was taken to hospital due to his injuries, and remains there. Police said these were "not believed to be life-changing or life-threatening."
