Children and young people are being invited to enter a competition to name a new street that will link Millennium Park to the Central Market and Library.
Part of the Merchants Square development, the new street will run past the Premier Inn Hotel and Freedom Centre - the former Odeon - and will connect Bath Street, Rue De Funchal and Halkett Place.
The competition launched this week and submissions can be made online until February 2021.

Le Masurier, the property developer for Merchants Square, will be selecting the name, which will earn the lucky winner an iPad, as well as £250 of book vouchers for themselves and £500 of book vouchers for their school.
The winner will also be invited to reveal the name of the new street when it officially opens to the public.
“We are really excited to launch this competition... and we are inviting children and young people from the ages of 5 to 18 to send in their ideas to name the new street in St. Helier," Brian McCarthy, Managing Director, Le Masurier, said.
"An opportunity like this doesn’t happen very often and we really want to encourage the younger generation to bring their ideas forward.”

The ‘Merchants Square’ development will include 149 one- and two-bedroom apartments, a restaurant and 122-bed Premier Inn hotel.
