Jump Jersey teases "thrilling" new family attraction

Friday 17 January 2025

A local leisure centre is next month launching what it hopes will be a "thrilling addition" to the island's entertainment offering for children and families.

Les Ormes-based Jump Jersey's new Inflatable Adventure Arena will be launching in February half-term.

394 square metres in size, the new attraction is designed to replace the existing airbag jumper and small toddler trampolines.

In preparation for the launch, the adventure centre will temporarily close for installation from Monday 20 January in time for the opening in February half-term.

The new area will include slides, interactive climbing features, balance pods and a multi-element obstacle course.

The attraction will be included in the existing Open Bounce ticket, giving visitors access to a wide rang of activities, including the trampoline area, dodgeball courts, ninja warrior course, and the popular total Wipeout machine.

For on-site guests of Les Ormes, the new feature will be available at no additional cost.

By expanding the variety of activities offered, Jump Jersey are hoping the "thrilling addition to the activity centre will enhance the island's offering for children's entertainment."

The activity complex also offers multiple other activities to visitors such as pottery painting, slime making, and various other artistic activities.

"As family-friendly venues continue to close across the island, Jump Jersey remains dedicated in its aim to provide an exciting and safe space for local children and families.

The launch of the Inflatable Adventure Arena offers a fresh and exciting new experience designed to promote fun, fitness, and community engagement."

The Bosdet Foundation, which owns Les Ormes, said: "We are committed to supporting the local community by continuing to offer free sessions to local charities, including access to the new Inflatable Adventure Arena, ensuring accessibility and enjoyment for all."

Jump Jersey have encouraged islanders to keep an eye on the Les Ormes’ website and social media channels for updates and further announcements regarding the official reopening.
