A young roller skating duo who have only been skating together for a year have been picked to represent Great Britain in Europe later this year.
Kiana-Jade Dupré (13) and Isaac Tarrant (10) were selected to compete in Italy in November after winning the Federation of Artistic Roller Skating's annual British Dance Championship last weekend.
Regent Skating Club coach Rebecca Schofield said: “This is the first year that Isaac and Kiana have skated in partnership, embracing the additional training required to enable them to compete in both couples dance and couples free dance.
“The fact they have achieved such a high standard over a short space of time, should be celebrated and shows they have the potential to achieve much more in the future.”
Isaac has also been selected to represent Great Britain in the Solo Dance category at the Europe Cup for the second time after winning his class.
Five skaters from the club travelled to Andover to compete, all coming home with good results.
Sophie Baker came third in the Tots class. Isaac Tarrant came first in the Minis Solo Dance and Libby Watts placed 12th. Lucy Dorgan came 10th in the Espior Solo Dance and Kiana-Jade Dupré placed 19th.
Rebecca said: "In order to qualify to enter the British Championships, each Skater has to pass a number of tests which involves hours of skating each week and takes a huge amount of dedication and hard work. Therefore, qualifying to enter is considered an achievement in itself, and gives the Skaters the opportunity to meet and skate against some of best skaters in the UK."
