Work starts tomorrow to install new traffic lights at the junction of Kensington Place and the Esplanade.
Until Thursday, it won't be possible to turn to turn right off the Esplanade and access to Kensington Place will be via the West Park roundabout only.
The Department of Infrastructure is making safety improvements at the junction. The new traffic signals will be combined with the current pedestrian crossing signals at that junction and will control the right turn into Kensington Place.
Once the work is completed, vehicles turning into Kensington Place will have to wait for a green signal before turning right across traffic approaching from West Park.
The Department says that the work has been scheduled to take place during the school holidays, between 3 April and 6 April, to minimise disruption.
