With less than a month to go until Jersey's Christmas light switch-on, organisers have announced a "completely new location" for this year's event.
On Thursday 14 November, islanders are invited to join the festivities at West's Centre from 17:00.
After musical entertainment and the chance to see Santa in his sleigh, the annual Christmas parade will commence at 19:15.
Taking a new route, the parade will make its way down the high street, before turning right at Charing Cross, and concluding at Parade Gardens.
A Christmas Village is to be set up around Parade Gardens and the Cenotaph from 16:00, featuring feature food, drink, entertainment and stalls.
The official switch-on of the Christmas Lights will take place at 20:00, following a family sing-song.
Town shops will start their seasonal late-night shopping on the same evening, with many opening late on each subsequent Thursday until Christmas.
Town Centre Manager Connor Burgher said: “We are excited to be holding the Christmas light switch-on event in a completely new location this year – this will allow us to provide an even bigger and better show than ever before.
“We hope islanders will join us in marking the official start of Christmas in St Helier – it’s an event not to be missed.”
