There’s a few sore feet, ankles and knees this morning, after 1,500 Islanders took on the annual Collas Crill Island Walk for charity over the weekend.
The 25th annual round-the-Island walk raised money for Parkinson’s Jersey, the National Trust for Jersey and Centre Point. In the last 24 years, the event has raised £1.9 million for charity – and organisers are expected to announce this year’s fundraising total later in the week.
The first walker took just under eight hours to finish the course, but stragglers were still crossing the line many hours later.
