Changes are being made to the parking at New North Quay, allowing drivers visiting the shops or Maritime Museum to stay for longer.
Currently, there are 10 spaces, next to St. Helier Marina car park, which are 20 minutes disc parking.
However, these are due to be converted into Pay-by-Phone parking for up to 12 in every 24 hours.
The changes will come into force on 17 October, and a notice will be in place from this weekend to inform motorists who currently use the area of the rezoning.
