Former Centenier Trevor Pointon has been elected Deputy in St. John with 609 votes out of 1,157.

Nigel Philpott, the other candidate standing for election in St. John, received 537 votes.

Jurat Christensen announced the results at 21:05. 

The percentage turnout for the Deputies election in St. John was 50.3%. Only 11 votes were spoiled.

Pointon will replace outgoing Deputy Tracey Vallois in St. John. She is standing for one of the eight Senator seats and is one of the two women topping Express' exit poll along with Deputy Kristina Moore.

Chris Taylor was re-elected unopposed for the position of Constable.
