Rock thrown through car window

Police are appealing for witnesses after a rock was thrown through a Land Rover window and items were taken from within.

The malicious damage was reportedly inflicted on the car while it was parked next to West Park Apartments next to the old Inn on the Park site on St. Aubin's Road.

"Sometime between 16:30 on Sunday 20 and 08:40 this morning, Tuesday 22 September, a green Land Rover Defender had a rock thrown through the driver’s side window and a cap and some keys removed from inside the vehicle," officers said.

"It also appears that the ignition has been tampered with."

Witnesses are now being sought, and anyone with more information is urged to ring 612612 or make an anonymous report using the Crimestoppers website.
