A boutique summer festival in Sark featuring artists from across the Channel Islands has been cancelled due to damage caused by Storm Ciarán.
The three-day music festival was due to take place between 5 and 7 July 2024 at a cliff-top location – featuring multiple food and drink retailers and a multi-genre lineup including folk, rhythm, country, blues, reggae and rock.
SarkFest organiser Simon Couldridge posted on social media indicating that the decision to cancel had been made with “much regret and disappointment”.
He added that refunds will be provided to those who have already bought tickets.

The annual music and entertainment event was launched in 2019.
It replaced the Sark Folk Festival, which ran for seven consecutive years until 2017 when the organisers announced they needed to take a break.
