Budding bookworms are invited to take part in a bookmark design competition as part of the Jersey Festival of Words.
The contest, which aims to encourage young people to be creative and imaginative, will see prizes including a "literary and arts goodie bag" worth £200.
The competition, along with the rest of the festival, is sponsored by finance company Highvern, which offers services in fiduciary, corporate and funds.
Entries in the bookmark competition will be judged by Highvern employees and displayed as part of the festival.
Martin Hall, CEO of Highvern, said: “This year's lineup of authors is sure to captivate younger readers, and we hope that the bookmark competition will not only spark excitement among budding bookworms but also inspire more participation in the Festival's events and school workshops.
"We are passionate about promoting the arts within the Channel Islands and honoured to continue to be associated with this inspiring and educational programme of events.”
The competition will be be split in three age categories: Years 3 and 4, Years 5 and 6, and Years 7 and 8.
Entries should be inspired by the literary world.
The deadline for entries is Wednesday 19 June.
