Search for missing islander enters second week

Monday 20 May 2024

The search for a 58-year-old man who hasn't been seen in over a week has now entered a "more targeted phase", according to police.

In an update released to mark one week since Adam McGrath went missing, police reiterated calls to those living in the north of the island to check their gardens, outbuildings and footage from video doorbells.

Mr McGrath went missing on Monday 13 May, when he left his home at Rue du Maupertuis in St Clement in the early hours of the morning.

He drove east towards Gorey, according to the police, before crossing the north of the island towards Grosnez. His car, a white Ford Fiesta Zetec, was later found there.

Anyone with dashcam footage from roads in the area taken between 05:30 and 07:15 on that morning has been asked to check it.
