Teddies of all shapes and sizes are invited, along with their owners, to Jersey Zoo for a 'beary' exciting picnic this weekend.
Fancy dress is not mandatory, but is highly recommended to enjoy the activities planned by Jersey Zoo as part of the Teddy Bear's picnic.
The action-packed weekend will include a bear-themed scavenger hunt, face painting and a raffle to win a teddy bear. Visitors can also carve a fruit and vegetable and bring their creation to the Gift Shop to enter the competition. Picnic hampers will be available at the Café Dodo.
One of the highlights of the day will be the announcement of the best-dressed bear which will be picked by Lee Durrell at 12:00 right by the bear enclosure.
This is Jersey Zoo's second bear picnic. The first one was held last year in June so that people could meet the bears and a young bear cub, who had just come out of the cubbing den.
Most of the activities offered on the day are free of charge and all donations will go towards the Zoo's mission to save species from extinction.
