Three men have been warned they could face prison after admitting a "cowardly attack" on another man that left him briefly unconscious.
One of the trio also admitted to possessing drugs.
Rory Paul Hamilton Askew, Jacob Maximus Lucas, and Kaydee Waters – all aged 20 – admitting ganging up to commit the grave and criminal assault.
Assistant Magistrate Peter Harris told the trio that they were lucky the victim had not been left with permanent physical injuries – or their ultimate sentence could be more severe.
Lucas also admitted separate charges of possessing quantities of cocaine, cannabis, and ketamine – a class B drug.
The Magistrate’s Court was shown graphic footage of the attack at the Weighbridge on the night of 8 January 2023. One of the defendants is seen punching the victim in the face.
Crown Advocate Carla Carvalho, prosecuting, said one held the victim in a headlock while he was punched and stamped on. The victim fell unconscious for 19 seconds.
He was examined by a forensic medical examiner afterwards and was found to have no long-term injuries.
The Assistant Magistrate postponed sentencing until 16 June to allow for background reports, but said the case was at the upper limit of what the Magistrate’s Court could deal with, and warned the trio: "Custody is something that the court will have in mind."
All three were all released on bail.
