The government has tightened testing and isolation restrictions for arrivals from 19 countries - but France is retaining its 'green' status despite a spike in covid cases in Brittany.
A total of 22 have had their status changed, with three - Canada, Estonia and Sweden - dropping down a level under the government's 'traffic light' classification system.
Under the system, each country is ranked as green, amber or red related to its level of risk. Anyone arriving in Jersey will then face different self-isolation and testing requirements depending on the status of the places they have visited.
Those risk assessments are based on the most recent 14-day case notification from the European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control (ECDC), case numbers and testing rates in each country, and the frequency of travel between the jurisdiction and Jersey.
Countries are generally designated green if they have 0-25 cases per 100,000 people, amber for 25-120, and red for more than 120.
Following news of a spike in cases in the Brittany region earlier this week, with the R number rising to 2.62 just days after Saint Malo sailings resumed, Jersey's key scientific advisory group decided to review the status of France.

However, with the number of cases per 100,000 below those in the green-classified UK, and France having implemented public health measures including increased testing and more stringent rules on face mask use, it was decided that its current status would not change.
However, 19 countries did have their risk status increased, with Luxembourg jumping from green to red.
Andorra, Croatia, Serbia, Seychelles, Turks and Caicos all moved from green to amber, while 13 countries moved from amber to red.
The changes in designation - which will mean different self-isolation and testing rules for new arrivals from the affected countries - will come into force on Friday.
“We ask all travellers arriving to the Island to declare their travel history as required by the Safer Travel Policy. The Countries Risk Assessment assigns a category to each country with associated testing and isolation requirements," Deputy Medical Officer of Health, Dr Ivan Muscat said.
“The countries and categories are regularly reviewed to determine the level of risk travellers arriving from each country present in order to allow our borders to operate safely. The revisions to the countries made today reflect the international changes to new cases of Covid-19, including where some countries have been successful in suppressing current rates of infections."
