Not to be outdone, the good folks of Jersey came back with a few bolts of their own after a Guernsey hotelier sent Express a stunning picture of lightning above our Channel Islands rival.
The Jersey bolts from the heavens came in….like lightning. Our leading picture is courtesy of Rui Marques, a pensions administrator, who took it while sitting at his desk.
Here, we can show you just a few of them, proving that Jersey has an electric and eclectic group of photographers, not to be put in the dark by Guernsey. Pictured below is a snap taken by Matt Gaskell, a facilities manager.
