Jersey's runners may be coming to the end of their training for the Jersey Marathon – but race organisers have put out a plea for volunteers, as they search for 40 more people to help marshal the course.
Course marshals guide and support the runners during the race – motivating them and keeping them safe.
The race – which takes place this year on Sunday 1 October – needs 160 course marshals in total.
Organisers are looking for 40 more volunteers to help marshal this year's Jersey Marathon, which is one of the island's biggest fundraising events..
Potential marshals need no previous experience – but should be available between four and seven hours on race day.
Marshals will be provided with training and lunch.
Potential volunteers can sign up on the Jersey Marathon volunteering page or email info@jersey-marathon.com.
