A 52-year-old Jerseyman has made a brief appearance in the Royal Court charged with murder.
It's alleged Michael Brown murdered John McCarthy on 21 October last year in Vauxhall Street, in St Helier.
The Bailiff William Bailhache remanded Mr Brown in custody and ordered him to appear back in the Royal Court in six weeks' time.
