A 16-year-old girl was reportedly attacked with a glass bottle and a motorcycle helmet and had a fizzy drink poured all over her following an argument in a park yesterday, Police have said in an appeal for witnesses.
Officers said the alleged assault in St. Brelade took place yesterday (Wednesday 14 June) around 19:05 near the top of the stairs by the shelter within the park.
According to the Force, the young woman was "hit on the head with a motorcycle helmet, had a glass bottle thrown towards her and a fizzy drink poured over her".
She sustained a bump and soreness to the head but did not require medical treatment.
One of the two males said to be involved in the incident has been described as 18 years old, wearing grey joggers and a grey jumper, with a thin build, brown hair and some stubble.
The second boy is described as 16 years old, of average build with long curly brown hair and stubble, wearing a navy blue or black gilet and black joggers, possibly with a black jumper.

It’s believed that those who were involved are known to each other.
