What does someone who spends her days picking out islanders' best colours do when she's feeling grey?
Helen Morton offers colour analysis and personal styling from her studio just outside St. Helier.
Through her job at 'Colour me Beautiful Jersey', Helen says she meets lovely people and experiences "real joy" when she helps them become "the best version of themselves" by showing them the colours which make them look and feel amazing and how to dress their shape.
"It's lovely to see people getting their Mojo back!" she said.
When she is not in her studio, helping islanders with their fashion choices, she likes to relax with some scones, walks and some cycling as she shared for the Wellbeing email.
This may not sound as healthy as the choices I've seen in other features but if I have some time to relax, I love a scone with butter and jam as it always feels like a treat and I only do it when I have the time to really enjoy it.
I do eat healthily overall but a little bit of what you fancy does you good!
If I'm having a scone then it has to be a lovely cup of tea. I always enjoy a cuppa (and a natter if friends are available).
If I'm out in the evening then it has to be an Aperol Spritz, I just love the bittersweet taste and even the colour of it in the sunshine makes me feel strangely happy.
In my car it'll be something downloaded from Spotify, I love a wide range of music from Harry Styles to Fleetwood Mac and more.
I also listen to fashion and style podcasts and videos on YouTube. Oh and I'm hooked on the “Great sewing bee” at the moment.
Hmm, I had to think about this one. Being an Image Consultant, I do a lot of online reading but also love reading an actual book and so have recently read 'Get changed' by Kat Farmer.
The basic principles are the same as all the points in our Colour Me Beautiful books, but it's always good to get ideas from other approaches. I think it's important that whatever you do, you continually do your homework and remain fresh in your approach.
I love walking and regularly do long walks with my friends, it's a great way of catching up, we have a good chat and, before we know it, we've done 10K.
I also love cycling, which I do with my husband, we now have electric bikes which are great in Jersey as it opens up the whole island when you can manage all the hills. I also do online PT and pilates a couple of times a week which keeps my body stretched and more supple.
