Jersey took back the trophy they lost last year in the under-21 Muratti this weekend.
The squad secured the title at home following a 3-1 scoreline in the annual clash against Guernsey.
After an early header from Connor Lloyd and a 31st minute goal from Seaney McColgan, Jersey were 2-0 ahead of the Sarnians at half-time.
Guernsey could have been given a lifeline when Jersey’s Dartyl Mvalo was sent off on halftime after two yellows, one in the 43rd minute for delaying the restart, and another four minutes later for taking the ball out of Guernsey keeper Ollie Miller’s hands.
But against the run of play, Jersey sealed the game when Harry Scott slid the ball home in the 70th minute.
Fin Patterson then got one back for Guernsey after a mistake by the Jersey keeper, but the Sarnians could do no more in the closing 10 minutes.
It meant that Jersey collected the trophy they had lost in Guernsey last year.
