The big day has arrived – the Paris 2024 opening ceremony is tonight!
Ahead of the start of the Olympics, Express has this week been shining a light on the different clubs and groups available in Jersey for anyone inspired by the Olympians.
Welcome to the last instalment of OLYMPIC FIX.
Yesterday, we covered everything from rowing to rock climbing.
The final sports on the agenda are...
If you fancy dusting off your swimming cap, or perhaps trying one on for the first time, then there are many clubs offering a range of casual, indoor and outdoor swimming classes.
Calligo Tigers, renowned for developing some of the island's greatest swimmers, offers classes right up from Learn to Swim to competitive level.
Similarly, the long established Jersey Swimming Club caters for all swimming levels in indoor or outdoor sessions.
Like you'll see in marathon swimming at Paris 2024, open water might be more your thing, which can be facilitated in Jersey through the Jersey Long Distance Swimming Club. Visit their website HERE.
If you fancy trying out this fast-paced sport, then the Table Tennis Association offers classes from beginner level to representing Jersey in competition.
After celebrating their centenary year in 2023, there's no sign of their paddles stopping anytime soon.
If anyone is inspired by strength and discipline of the Olympic Taekwondo athletes, Jersey Taekwondo is available on-island and holds classes available for all ages and abilities.
If Wimbledon wasn't enough to inspire you to pick up a racket, then the classes and summer camps at The Caesarean Tennis Club, Les Mielles Tennis Club or Grainville Tennis Club might do the trick. All three clubs cater for juniors and adults of all abilities.
Additionally, private tennis courts can be booked on a pay and play basis at St Clement's Sports Centre and Les Quennevais.
Regent Gymnastics Club is the place to go for any of your serious trampolining needs. Offering freestyle and parkour sessions too, it's a great way to bounce straight into the holidays.
They also offer SEN trampolining classes at Regent Gym Club for anyone with additional needs.
Jump Jersey at Les Ormes also offers 'Open Bounce' sessions for a more casual trampolining experience.
Offering beach volleyball sessions in the summer and indoor events during the colder months, Jersey Volleyball runs men's and women's leagues and competitions.

The Jersey Water Polo Association – who recently celebrated their 50th anniversary in style – is the place to go.
Junior and senior training sessions and tournaments are held throughout the year and the first session is always free if you are just testing the water with this sport.
And last, but by no means least... Weightlifting.
Whilst there are no dedicated clubs for this sport, it can easily be accessed by private gyms in Jersey.
Jersey Crossfit Gym is one example as well as FX Fitness who offer personal olympic lifting and power lifting classes.
