Last Sunday saw more than 750 islanders take part in Jersey Hospice’s half marathon — which raised a record-breaking £60,000.
The route, which is over a distance of 13.1 miles, takes runners from the charity shop in St Ouen through to Jersey Hospice Care on Mont Cochon.

There was also the opportunity for runners to take part as a team in a relay.
The event, which is sponsored by EY, is one of the key annual fundraisers for Jersey Hospice Care.
Funds raised go towards the running and service costs for the Hospice, estimated to be approximately £5 million each year.
Organiser Loraine Fulton gave thanks to everyone who made it possible, saying: "I'm extremely proud and overwhelmed with the support for our half-marathon.
"A huge thanks to everyone who helped make it such a great event, from our runners for taking part and their incredible fundraising, their friends and family who helped spur them on, and our wonderful volunteers and colleagues at Hospice who did everything from baking cakes for the finish, to being road marshals keeping our runners safe!"
She also gave a "special shout out" to Rock N Road Run Co for supporting our race packs, sponsors EY, and to Rock n Road Runners managed one of the water stations.
"Plus, it was an absolute bonus that we were able to have one of our patients out at the finish line to watch his son cross it! A fantastic day all round," she added.
The date for next year’s event has been confirmed as Sunday 23 March 2025.
The first woman to cross the finish line was Jessica Troy, with a time of 1:27:18.
