The "inspiring" winners of this year's Jersey Sport and Move More Jersey Awards were announced last night – here's the full list.
Jersey’s sporting community gathered at the Radisson Blu Waterfront Hotel yesterday evening for the 2023 Jersey Sport and Move More Jersey Awards.
Attended by the Deputy Bailiff Robert MacRae and Sports Minister Lucy Stephenson, the event saw 13 awards presented in recognition of the many achievements in local sport and physical activity between 1 August 2022 and 31 July 2023.
An 'Outstanding Achievement' award was presented to the Jersey Reds, which this year rose to Championship success, before the club sadly collapsed due to financial pressures.

Steve Law, Interim Chair of Jersey Sport, said: "I would like to personally congratulate all the nominees, shortlisted nominees and award winners of this year’s Awards.
"Sport and physical activity make such a positive impact upon the lives of so many islanders and it’s great to be able to come together to recognise and celebrate those achievements with friends and colleagues across the industry.
"Thank you to all our Award sponsors and the Government of Jersey, and thank you to everyone who make sport and physical activity possible in Jersey - including our volunteers, coaches, sports organisations and businesses.
"It's a real privilege to be celebrating the very best within our local sport and physical activity.”
